Patient Guides

Straight answers about medical aesthetics and wellness.

You have probably typed some of these into a search bar already: whether pellets beat creams, whether two weight loss medications differ in ways that matter, what a drug label warns about, and who Florida law allows to inject you. Each guide answers one of them. Every one is medically reviewed, carries the date we last checked it, and gets revised when the guidance moves.

Reviewed by our medical team · Updated as guidance changes

You arrive at a consult having read ten articles and come away no clearer. That gap is what these fill.

We write them the way we talk in the room. That means naming the trade-offs, saying who is not a candidate, and telling you when the real answer is "it depends on your labs." Where a claim comes from a drug label or a state rule, we say so and keep the wording accurate. Where the evidence is unsettled, we say that too.

Nothing here replaces an exam. It should, however, mean you walk into any consult, ours or someone else's, knowing what to ask.

How these are written

Reviewed, dated, and revised when guidance moves.

Farah Kalnoky, PA-C reviews the clinical content of every guide, and Achilles Kalnoky, MD stands behind it. When a drug label changes or Florida updates a rule, we rewrite the guide and move the review date.
